The Eclectic Self Protection Association - North London Self Defence were delighted to have been booked by Kings College & their Physical Activity Coordinator to deliver 3x 2hr personal protection workshops as part of their self defence and stay safe campaign for their inhouse students as part of Kings Sport & Welness for October and Novemeber 2024. We have run numerous bespoke self defene courses both in person and online for Kings College in the past and we are simply delighted to have been booked for more courses!

Stay safe and practice your break falls for BJJ, Judo, MMA, Jiu-Jitsu, Kuk Sool Won, the Dojo and even street fights.

Eclectic Self Protection (ESP) - North London Martial Arts & Self Defence

Since the dawn of covid, The Eclectic Self Protection Association (ESPA) have been running both self defence and meditation classes completely FREE of charge to all of London & Nationwide with Zoom through fun, engaging, professional and interactive training.

Our Mixed Martial Arts & Self Defence classes were designed to improve confidence, self assurance, personal protection skills, self awareness, fitness, flexibility, gross motor skills, stress levels and self esteem all in a fun, friendly and interactive way.

Intensive Womens Self Defence & Edged Weapon Awareness & Defence Instructor Course - April 2021 (ESPA)

The Intensive Womens Self Defence & Edged Weapon Awareness Instructor Course was conducted for a student and martial arts practitioner late April 2021 in North London. Helen a student of the ESPA attended to gain the newly accredited instructor diploma qualifications.

The Harris Academy is a coeducational academy based in Peckham, in the London Borough of Southwark, catering for pupils from the ages of 11 to 18, The school specialises a curriculum stimulating learning opportunities including Physical Education, IT, Maths and English.

Self Defence & Personal Safety Instructor Course October 2020 (ESPA)

The Self Defence & Personal Safety Instructor Course was conducted for a student and martial arts practitioner early October 2021 in North London. Helen a student of the ESPA attended to gain the newly accredited instructor diploma qualification.

The Self Defence & Personal Safety Instructor Course was conducted for a student and martial arts practitioner early September 2019 in North London. Chris - a previously graded martial arts exponent in Kickboxing and Krav Maga, and student of the ESP Black Belt Program attended to gain the newly accredited instructor diploma qualification.

The ESP program taught the young adults creative and powerful skills to deal with difficult situations that they may have to face. Using non-violent strategies, the students were taught how to effectively avoid, control and de-escalate aggression. The session also included a variety of meditation techniques to lower stress and improve self esteem and enhance positive thinking.

The Intensive 3 Hr Knife & Edged Weapon Response Course was conducted on behalf of a student of mine who attended my previous classes and courses. The course was run by the Eclectic Self Protection Association on North London grounds December 2019.

After a brief chat and catch up with the crew we kicked straight off into the session with a low to moderate warm up and static stretch sequence. ESP Coach structured the session slightly different to the usual coporate classes in accordance with what the students wanted to learn. ESP Coach took the students through the most efficient and best choke namely the Rear Naked Choke (RNC).
